Planning posts and why I should do it.

Sister Diane over at CraftyPod has been discussing planning your posts ahead of time in her recent podcast.

She makes some very good points about planning posts ahead. As a reader I know how frustrating it can be for a blogger to vanish for a fortnight in the summer and I realise it can be a bit annoying for people reading this blog to have me posting so sporadically.

I think some of it stems from the fact I got into blogging via LiveJournal, ooh nearly 8 years ago now and one of LiveJournal’s flaws is that you can’t set when you publish a post, so I never think about writing a bunch of posts and setting them to publish at a later date.

Sister Diane also linked to a few very useful blog planners which I’m going to try to see if I can get into the swing of posting more than four times a month.

I’ve just re-enrolled onto my Silversmithing course for September so I’m planning now to make a post each Thursday discussing what I got up to in class and I’ll sit down and work on my Sunday Etsy finds too because a couple of you have liked them.

What else would you like to see on this blog?
